Charles Roe "Ford Man" Ford

Charles Roe “Ford Man” Ford, age 88, of Morristown, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at Life Care Center of Morristown. He was a member of Holt’s Baptist Church. Charles loved working and helping people and never met a stranger. His last job was working at Westside Chapel Funeral Home where he was employed for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Posey and Eva Ford; infant daughter, Kathy Ford; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Birdie Gilbert; three sisters and their husbands; and two brothers and their wives. He is survived by his wife of sixty-nine years, Betty Ford; daughter, Donna (Dale) Harris; son Terry (Cherie) Ford; grandchildren, Brandi (Justin) Rymer and Preston (Mandy) Ford; and great-grandchildren, Cooper, Cohen, Gabby, Kylee, Uriah, and Mercy. Special thanks to the staff of Smoky Mountain Hospice and the staff of Life Care of Morristown for their special care. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, April 27th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Dale Harris and Rev. Preston Ford officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, April 28th at Jarnagin Cemetery for graveside services with Rev. Alan Lamb officiating.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
