Charles Glenn Short

Charles Glenn Short, age 68, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was preceded in death by parents, Danie and Sarah Short; siblings, Clay, Joe, Max, and Bill Short, and Margaret Clevenger and Shirley Newman. Charles was survived by his wife, of 29 years, Betty Short; children, Stephanie (Russ) Quarles, Scott Short, Miranda (Adam) Hill, and Melissa (Rodney) Mills; grandchildren, Morgan Houchins, Kathryn and Benton Quarles, Connor and Lucas Hill, Craig (Brittany), Kayla and Dakota Mills; great grandson, Malaki Winstead; brothers, Clarence Short and Jim Short; and sister, Alice (Richard) Harville. The family will receive friends from 5-6 pm Friday, August 28th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6 pm Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Ricky Harris and Rev. Dennis Strange officiating.
