Charlotte Frances (Davis) Grooms

Charlotte Grooms, age 82, of Bean Station, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026. Born January 16, 1944, to C. Frank Davis and Christine Goan, Charlotte was known for her strong and independent spirit. She earned three Bachelor’s degrees in Business, Finance, and Secondary Education, reflecting her lifelong dedication to learning and achievement. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Tina Davis; and her brother, Frankie Jo Davis. She is survived by her son, Tyler Grooms; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In her final months, Charlotte’s wishes were clear: she did not want to enter a nursing home, she wanted to return home one more time, and she wanted to enjoy her favorite banana popsicles. Her family finds comfort in knowing those wishes were honored. In accordance with her request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serenity House in Morristown, Tennessee. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
