Obituary
Chester “Butch” Christian, age 59, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. Butch was born on May 11, 1963 in Pennington Gap, Virginia to Jimmy Christian and Dorothy Simpson. He grew up in Indiana and retired in Morristown with his precious family. Butch is survived by his children, Brian (Brandi), Dustin, Ashley (Jake), Eric, and Cassy; his grandchildren, Paisley, Olivia, Emersyn, and Siluss; and siblings, Roy (Penny), Donald (Cynthia), Rhonda, Billy (Bonnie), Jeanette, Lori (Doyle), Berry (Julie), Melinda (Jon), Charlie, Carla, and Jimmy. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Sharon (Murray), Mike, and Johnny. Butch was a loving grandpa, uncle, cousin, friend, and an amazing dad and will be truly missed. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
