Christopher "Eric" Bullard

Christopher “Eric” Bullard, born Jan 31st, 1963 in Clarksville, TN was a devoted husband and father, business owner, and lover of the arts. After a brief battle with cancer, Eric passed in his home surrounded by his family on the morning of August the 9, 2024. Eric was married to his best friend, Kimberly Bullard, for 33 wonderful years, during which they had four children, one grandson, and MANY foster children who they mentored and loved. Eric was charismatic, hardworking, funny, creative, and adventurous. He was an Eagle Scout, an honor he enjoyed later in life helping his son Zachary also achieve. For a period, he served as the president of The Clan Buchanan. He loved spending time with his family on the lake, in the woods, and at the Highland Games. One of the greatest joys of his life was giving back to his community through local theater. While he enjoyed taking center stage, he could also be found breaking down sets after a long show, serving on the board, and encouraging the next generation of actors. His family wanted to give a special thank you to his friends at Encore Community Theater where he served many years as a board member. You have all brought him many years of good memories. Preceded by his mother, Hannah England of Weaverville, North Carolina; grandparents, Elton and Leatha Bullard of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and Grover and Agnes England of Weaverville, North Carolina. Survived by his wife, Kimberly; sons, Michael, Zachary, and Dae; daughter and son-in-law, Alexandria and Kieran Davis; grandson, Franklin Dean Davis; parents, Herb and Judy Bullard of Durham, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Carolyn Richards of Graham, North Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Scott Huber of Altamonte Spring, Florida; and nine beautiful nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Family and friends whose life Eric has touched are invited to his viewing at Westside Chapel Funeral home on Wednesday, August the 14th, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow.
