Daniel "Dan" Dudley

Daniel “Dan” Dudley, age 65, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. Dan was a loving husband, brother, son, and step-father, and loved his granddaughter very dearly. He loved playing the guitar. He was preceded in death by his father, Dean Dudley; step-father, Bobby Cockrell; and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Lavonda Dudley; mother, Amanda Cockrell; step-daughters, Amy (Greg) Harrell and Joy (Michael) Tomlin; granddaughter, Alena Harrell; brothers, Tom (Onie) Dudley and Jeff (Carole) Dudley; sister, Cindy (Richard) Idell; step-brothers, Doyle Cockrell and Joey Cockrell; step-sister, Cheryl Slemp; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, March 11th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Tim Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12th at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
