Danny Joe Dickerson

Danny J. Dickerson, age 62, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a very loving father and a very loyal friend. He was a graduate of Morristown East High School and worked for the Hamblen County Department of Parks and Recreation. He was also a member of “Oscars” Morristown Golf and Country Club, but to him it was his home.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Josie and Jo Earl Dickerson; He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Dickerson (Targe Fontaine) of Morristown; brothers, Johnny Dickerson, James Dickerson, and William Dickerson of Morristown; also several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Special thank you to long time friends Timmy Standifer, David Lowe, and Mark Standifer, he really loved you guys. Also a special thank you to all his other friends. Weather permitting a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 pm on Saturday, May 9th at Oscar’s Golf Course. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made toward funeral expenses.
