Danny Gene Thacker

Danny Gene Thacker, age 62, of Bean Station, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Dixie Thacker; sister, Teresa Case; and brothers, Billy Lee Thacker and Jimmy Thacker. He is survived by his father, John Wallace Thacker; brothers, John William (Greta) Thacker, Gary Thacker, Ricky (Norma Jean) Thacker, Thanel (Linda) Thacker, and Bobby Thacker; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. C.H. Dalton and Rev. Bill Dalton officiating.. Family and friends will meet for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service on Friday, June 26th at Annie E. Young Cemetery in Pikeville, KY. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
