Darrell Glen Lilly, age 67, of Bybee, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025, surrounded by his family at his home. He was a member of Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Bybee. Darrell was retired from MAHLE after thirty one years of service and was an avid woodworker and a “Mr. fix it.” He loved spending time with his family and was a pillar in his community. Darrell was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Myrtle Lilly; and brothers, James “Jimmy” Lilly and Paul Lilly. He is survived by his wife of thirty one years, Kim Lilly; children, Melissa (Philip) Thompson, Brandy (Roudy) Henley, Justin (Carrie) Lilly, and Aaron (Cassy) Hayes; grandchildren, Tara Thompson, Wesley Thompson, Lilly Henley, Miles Henley, Kelsie Henley, Lucy Henley, Madison King, Caleb King, Castin Jackson, Annie Lilly, Eastyn Parker, and Jaxon Hayes; brothers, Wilson Hain and Joe (Julie) Hain; sister-in-law, Peggy Lilly; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Friday, November 28th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 29th at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Bybee with Rev. Roger Porter, Rev. John Kincaid, and Rev. Caleb Alder officiating. The body will lie in state from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
