David Wayne Burgin

David Wayne Burgin, age 43, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He loved to fish and was a proud and devoted father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family. He is survived by his parents, Howard David (Carolyn) Burgin and Teresa (Mike) Dixon; son, Chance Burgin; daughter, Savanna (Dustin) Ratliff; grandchild, Axel Ratliff; brother, Ben (Morgan) Burgin; step-brothers, Scott (Chrissy) Dixon and Sam Dixon; sister, Kelly Vokas; and also several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 4th at Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for graveside services. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, December 5th at Standing in the Gap Ministries with Rev. Wesley Ward officiating.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
