David Gene Holt

David Gene Holt, age 84, of Morristown, born April 17, 1936, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at his residence under hospice care. He exchanged his earthly home for his Heavenly home where he is with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Morristown. He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Betty Holt; daughters, Judy Holt of Morristown, Della Holt of Jacksonville, FL, Carolyn Holt of Jacksonville, FL, and Mitz Sizemore of Edison, TN; grandchildren, Michael Lawson and wife Ashley, Kim Combs, Erica LeMay, Ashley Quiles, and Jason Dennis; sister, Carolyn Holt; and nephews, David Phillips and Darrell Phillips. The family would like to express their deep appreciation and thanks to Veronica and staff at Hospice for all their care and help during this difficult time. Family and friends will meet at 3:30 p.m. Monday, September 14th at Dalton Cemetery in Bean Station for graveside services with Rev. Don Lamb officiating.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
