Deborah Ann (Sutton) Flannigan

Deborah Ann (Debbie) Flannigan,  age 74, widow of Michael Flannigan, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 in Morristown, TN. She was born in Gloversville, NY on September 22, 1947, the daughter of the late Norman and Alice Groff (Loveday) Sutton. Debbie graduated from Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School in Verona, NY where she participated in sports during her high school years. Always known for her energy and fun-loving spirit, Debbie lived her high school motto, “Let’s get into it.” She will be remembered for her fabulous cooking skills and her ever-present quick wit. Debbie leaves behind: three daughters, Erin Marshall Davis (Richard) of Morristown, TN, Lynn Marshall Schutte (Sean) of Portland OR, and Jamie Ford of Cullman, AL; two brothers, Robert Sutton (Norma) of Menifee, CA and John M. Sutton (Ellen) of Beaufort, SC; three sisters, Cathy Hoffman of Englewood, CO, Susan Gregg (Lloyd) of Merritt Island, FL, and Elizabeth Nimmo (Kelvin) of Parrish, FL; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Davis Wolfe (Benjamin) of Knoxville, TN, Grace and Cian Schutte of Portland, OR, and Zoey Harris of Columbiana, AL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Angel Marshall. Services will be private. Remembrance donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
