Deborah Watterson Obituary

Deborah Jean (Gausman) Watterson, age 62, of Morristown, left this earth peacefully to be with God and her late mother, in the early morning hours of March 28th, 2025. Debbie was adopted by her loving parents, Tom and Phyllis Gausman, who she admired as the most loving and caring people she could have been given as parents. Loved by many, Debbie was a member of Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Morristown. She is survived by her husband, Terry Watterson; father, Tom Gausman; sister, Judy Sherman; brother, Ed Gausman; step-children, Mindy Hazelwood and John Watterson; and beloved granddaughters, MaryEllen and Eleanor. Debbie is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews. Debbie never stopped dancing, treasured her 14 year old dog, Gracie, and held a very special love in her heart for her Hearthstone family, where she was employed for over 30 years. She is loved dearly and by so many. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 1st at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 2nd at Jarnagin Cemetery for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
