Deborah "Debbie" Anne (Pilcher) Widener

Deborah “Debbie” Anne Widener, age 72, of Talbott, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Manley Baptist Church where she was previously involved in Upward Basketball and worked in the nursery. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society and she loved all U.T. sports. Debbie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Leota Pilcher; and brother-in-law, DeWayne Arp. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Eugene Widener; son, Lee (Lesley) Widener; special granddaughter, whom she loved, Keeli Widener; twin sister, Brenda (Phil) Cooper; nieces, Heather (Pat) Holland and Rachel (Michael) Workman; sister-in-law, Debi Arp; two great-nieces and one great-nephew; and special friends, Brenda Harbin, Jill Marshall, Sharon Hayes, Linda Shultz, Brenda Cole, Tammy Harris and all the Red Hat Ladies.  The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, March 28th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Tony Buchanan and Rev. Dwayne Moore officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
