Della Mae (Garrison) Carico

Della Garrison Carico, age 50, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. She was of the Baptist Faith and loved the Lord. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Special Education from Carson Newman College. She was a strong person, great leader and teacher. She was loving mother and grandmother, her children referred to her as “Mother Bird” and will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Carico. She  is survived by her children, Ashley Roberts, Timmy (Elizabeth) Roberts, and Chelsey Roberts; grandchildren, Aeralynn and Gabriel Roberts; father, Marvin Garrison; mother, Glenda Mercer; brother, Earl Garrison; and Boyfriend, Larry Van Calfee. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm on Friday, September 11th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7 pm Friday with Rev. Mike Morgan officiating.
