Delores Ann (Shockley) Smith

Delores Smith, age 77, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at her residence. She was born on June 30, 1943 to the late Lon and Aurilla Shockley. She will be remembered for her love of music, her sense of humor, love of her animals, and the love she had for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ed (Maxine) Shockley; and sister, Helen Seal Spoone. She is survived by her son, Anthony (Jennifer) Smith; daughter, Daphne (Jerry) Sprouse; granddaughters, Camryn Sprouse and Kenzie Sprouse; brothers, Billy (Jean) Shockley, David (Mable) Shockley, and Frank (Gloria) Shockley; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, September 25th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 26th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
