Dixie E. (Little) Beede

Obituary

Dixie E. Beede, 81, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022. The daughter of the late Henry & Edna Perry Little, Dixie was born in Kokomo, Indiana, on July 17, 1940. Dixie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She retired from Western Carolina University and loved the mountains of North Carolina. In addition to her parents, Dixie is preceded in death by her grandson, Donnie Beede Jr.; and her sister, Cheryl Martin. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Larry Beede; sons, Donnie Beede and Wayne Beede; daughter, Theresa Collier (Ervin); ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends at Westside Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 10 – 11 a.m. The memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Howard Shipley officiating.
