Don Hensley

Don Hensley, age 78, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Jefferson Park Nursing Home in Dandridge after a short illness. He was a member of McBride Missionary Baptist Church where he was a bell ringer and was saved at an early age at Narrow Valley Baptist Church in Grainger County. Don was retired from Meritor after eighteen years of service, a former member of the Morristown Rescue Squad for eighteen years, and a member of Masonic Lodge 231.  He is survived by his wife, Martha Smith Hensley; his best friends, Danny and Pam Harris; and his little puppy, “BoBo.” The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2nd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Masonic services will be at 7:30 p.m. followed by the funeral service with Rev. Terry Winstead and Rev. Joe Bailey, Jr. officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 3rd at Pleasant View Cemetery in Maynardville for graveside services.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
