Donna Renee (Wilmoth) Yates

Donna Renee Yates, age 65, passed away peacefully at her home on April 13, 2026. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted mother and a wonderful sister. Her nephew’s adored her. She was kind to everyone she met. She was a devoted wife to her husband Chet for 19 years. She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Clark Winstead; parents, Donald and Shirley Wilmeth; and grandparents, Harrell and Kate Wilmeth and Lonnie and Eula Mae Jefferson. She is survived by her husband Chet Yates; sister, Kim (Robert) Williamson; daughter, Katie (Zach) Iversen; granddaughter, Sutton Iversen; nephews, Wes Williamson and Jes (Kayla) Williamson; great nephews, Dallas and Maddox Williamson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. . A special thank you to Bridget Colvin for all the help and support she gave for 3 years. The family will receive friends from 1 - 2p.m. on Monday, April 20th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens with special uncle Bobby Joe Raines officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
