Donnie Wayne Southerland

Donnie Wayne Southerland, age 72, of Morristown, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church in Bean Station. Donnie retired from Shelby-Williams and loved working on the farm. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Southerland; parents, Donald and Catherine Southerland; and brother, Michael Steven Southerland. He is survived by his brother, Bobby Southerland; sister, Rebecca (Ray) Boatright; step-sons, Ed (Gretta) Dalton and C.H. (Tammy) Dalton; step-daughters, Louise Kinser, Lois (Tony) Morie, and Rosemary (Robert) Hayworth; special nephew, Brandon (Emily) Southerland; special niece, Miranda (Jonathan) Maxey; and great-nephews, Brayden Maxey and Evan Southerland. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, June 22nd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23rd at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
