Dorothy Juanita (Moyers) Jacobs

Dorothy Juanita Moyers Jacobs, age 90, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Tennova North Medical Center in Powell. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was generous, kind, meek and always the first to forgive, and was grateful to God in every way. She loved her Lord, always praising him. She will be deeply missed by all her family, especially to her daughter/caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Luther Jacobs; parents, Byrd Maynard Moyers and Willie Beatrice Moyers; son-in-law, John W. Cooper; brother, Robert Moyers; and sisters, June Oler and Faye Finney. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kathy Cooper of Jefferson City; son, Barney (Sandy) Jacobs of Mohawk; grandchildren, Brad (Nicole) Jacobs, and Karla (Derrick) Ottinger; sisters, Norma (Turner) Murphy and Joann Caughron; also six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 11th from the hours of 12-5 pm. A private graveside will be held for immediate family.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
