Dorothy Ann (Blanchard) Woody

Dorothy (Blanchard) Woody, age 93, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Regency Retirement Home with her family by her side. She was born November 26, 1931 to Robert and Dean Blanchard. Left before her was her husband of sixty six years, Billy Joe Woody; brothers, Robert, Charles, and John Blanchard; sister, Sarah Sue Blanchard; and parents, Robert and Dean Blanchard. Left to mourn her best is daughters, Patricia White and Julia (Wayne) Rouse; son, Billy Wayne Woody; grandchildren, Kevin (Carol) Rouse, Kelley (Wilson) Stevenson, Keith (Casey) Rouse, Doug Collins, Sherry (Dale) Stevenson, Denise (Mike) McGinnis, and Tyler Jones; and eighteen great-grandchildren. Dorothy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Special thanks to Regency Retirement Home and Caris Healthcare for their love, care, compassion, and comfort they provided for our loved one and family. The family will receive friends from 10- 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 18th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Hamblen Memory Gardens with Dr. Joe Hamlett officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
