Douglas Leon Hensley

Douglas Leon Hensley, born on Christmas Day, 1961, of Russellville, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 23, 2021. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had celebrated his thirty fourth year working at MAHLE. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Hensley; dad, Leon Hensley; and wife, Glenda McKinney Hensley. He is survived by his fiance, best-friend, and care giver, Karen Robertson, and her children, Amy Crittenden and Travis Crittenden; mother, Janna Eller Collier; brothers, Roger (Linda) Hensley and Darren Ball; step-children, Brian, Cindy, Wendy, and Donald; several step-grandchildren; special nieces, Amanda Hensley, Samantha Ball, Chad Hensley, Nathan Ball, and Tyler Ball; several other nieces and nephews; and his work family at MAHLE. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, January 25th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Brian Southerland officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 26th at Economy United Methodist Church Cemetery for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
