Doyel Glen Cockrell

Doyel G. Cockrell, age 63, of Morristown, passed away on Monday May 20, 2024 at The Heritage Center of Morristown. Doyel’s career as a construction iron worker took him down many roads traveled where he met many friends. He loved traveling, riding motorcycles, his children, his family, and his girlfriend Jean Halstead. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Pressell; father, Bobby Cockrell; and step brother, Dan Dudley. He is survived by his step mother, Amanda Cockrell; daughter, Danielle (Alex) Cockrell; son, Joshua (Madison) Cockrell; sister, Cheryl (Rick) Slemp; brother, Joey Cockrell; step sister, Cindy (Richard) Idell; step brothers, Tom (Ondiea) Dudley, and Jeff (Carole) Dudley; sister – in – law, Lavonda Dudley; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ambrose and Peggy Brewer, James Price, and Douglas Stephens. A private celebration of life service will be held for friends and family. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
