Duane Morris

Duane Morris, age 64, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at his residence. He was an avid fisherman, a big UK basketball fan, and he owned and operated Tom’s Marina for the past thirty years. Duane was a loving husband and brother and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vinson and Janet Morris; and brothers, Paul Morris and Joby Buckingham. He is survived by his wife of forty two years, Debbie Morris; brothers, Dexter Morris, Phil (Marty) Morris, and Tom (Sharon) Buckingham; sister, Melissa (Lester) Sellars; special friend and fishing partner, Lowell Caudill; and many others. The family will receive friends from 3 – 6 p.m. Friday, December 27th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with Dr. Keith Mowery officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 28th at Sandlin Cemetery in Gray Hawk, Kentucky for graveside services with Pastor Carroll De Forest officiating.
