Obituary
Earl Roy Rogers, age 71, of Strawberry Plains, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville. He loved woodwork and was kind-hearted, caring, and loving, always helping people out, and was the best papaw in the world. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Rogers, Sr. and Charlotte Davis Rogers; and granddaughter, Kayla Carson. He is survived by his wife, Ann Rogers, who have been together since 1979; son, Kris Spencer; daughter, Katrina “Kat” Spencer and Kristina (Billy) Woodard; grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Spencer, Brianna Rogers, J.D. Miller, and Ruben Woodard; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Spencer, Alex, Luke, Bradly, Henry, Skyler, Kaleb, and Shirley; brother, Donny Rogers; and sisters, Revena, Kathy, Dodoie, and Diane.A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
