Earl Steven Warner, age 62, of Morristown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at his residence. Steve was a life-long member of Kidwells Ridge Baptist Church. During his younger days, he was a member of the Volunteer Rescue squad, going on many calls. He always enjoyed sports, playing football for three years at Morristown West High School, graduating there in 1981, and also attended Walters State Community College in 1982. He retired from Petoskey Plastics. Steve was a wonderful, attentive, and caring son and brother who called his mother three or four times a day to check on her to see how she was doing. He was a generous, selfless, and kind-hearted person who lived a quiet, family oriented kind of life. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Warner; and brother, William Frederick Warner. He is survived by his wife, Angela Whitehead; mother, Linda Ivy Warner Stiles of Franklin, NC; son, Daniel (Laura) Warner and their children, Raylan and twins, Cameron and Ethan; sister-in-law, Melissa Warner and her daughter, Chelsey, and her children, Hayden and Addison of Bulls Gap; aunt, Judy Harris; uncles, Johnny and Guy Frank Warner; and many cousins. He loved his family with all his heart and leaves a void in their lives. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, March 9th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Gary Baxley officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 10th at Jarnagin Cemetery for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
