Earnest Roy Aldridge, Sr.

Earnest Roy Aldridge, Sr., age 87, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Life Care Center of Morristown. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a Missionary in Belize for twenty six years. Earnest was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a devoted father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Aldridge; parents, Everette and Nellie Aldridge; daughter, Rebecca Burgett; infant son, Earnest Roy Aldridge, Jr.; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his sons, Eric (Susan) Aldridge and Gabriel (Emma) Aldridge; daughters, Ramona (Mike) Johnson and Jessica Aldridge; brother, Frank Aldridge; sister, Punky Watson; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19th at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery for graveside services with Rev. Danny Bell officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
