Edgar “Lloyd” Wilder, age 84, of Talbott, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his residence. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for over thirty years in the Zinc Mines in Jefferson City. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, E.L. “Bootie” and Charlsie Wilder; and sister, Imogene Carpenter. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Marie Wilder; son, Mike (Jane) Wilder; step-son, Ronnie Brady; step-daughter, Rhonda (Rick) Jones; grandchildren, Matthew Wilder, Michael Wilder, Tyson (Jessica) Jones, Tyler (Sam) Jones, Ryan (Morgan) Brady, and Aaron Brady and fiancé, Gracie Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Tymber Kate Jones, Tate, Everly Jones, and Sadie Grace Hollingsworth. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Saturday, September 18th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Barry Brady and Tyson Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 19th at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Talbott for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
