Edith L. (Stewart) Roberts

Edith L. Roberts, age 92, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 16, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Roberts; parents, Alex and Margie Stewart; sisters, Mary Nichols, Sadie Williams and Alvada Stewart; brothers, Sam, Vol, Frank, Milum (Mutt), Loyd, and George Stewart. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She will be remembered by many for her love of family, friends, church, and her delicious cooking. She was the most humble and kind person, always putting others before herself. A life well lived, her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Funeral services will be held at Panther Creek Baptist Church in Sneedville on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Panther Creek Baptist Church in Sneedville. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
