Edna Jean (Marshall) Witt

Edna Jean Marshall Witt, age 72, of Morristown, crossed over the river Jordan to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday July 29, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Dan and Marjorie Marshall; father and mother –in-law, Rev. Marvin and Mary Will Witt; sister, Peg Cline; sisters-in-law, Pam Marshall and Kathy Witt. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Marion Witt; son, Brian (Shannon) Witt; grandchildren, Brandon Allen Witt and Daniel Ray Witt; great granddaughter, Adalynn May Witt; brothers, Clifford (Joyce) Marshall of Morristown, Buck Marshall of Newport, David (Natalie) Marshall of Morristown, Lester Marshall of White Pine; sisters-in-law, Edna Brown of Missouri, Patti Parry of Greeneville, Dorothy (Odell) Hicks of Midway; brothers-in-law, Gene Witt of Midway, and Paul (Debbie) Witt of Mosheim; and best friend for life, Nancy Whiteman. The family would like to give a special heartfelt thank you to Gina Dean and the entire staff at Caris Healthcare. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31st at Thankful Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Barry Warren and Rev. David Alder. Family and friends will meet for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service on Thursday, August 1st at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
