Emma Jean (Lane) Baxley

Emma Jean Lane Baxley, age 88, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and loved flowers and her dogs. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat James Baxley; parents, Jim and Zona Lane; brother, Bill Lane; and son, Randy Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Patty Baxley, Debbie (Rocky) Rule of Seymour, and Pam Johnson; grandchildren, Holly (Dale) Coberley, Amber Johnson, Kayla (Josh) Satterfield, and Patrick (Krystal) Rule; great-grandchildren, MaKenlee, Brooklyn, Corbin, Kaitlyn, Sawyer, Greyson, and Rockwell; brothers, Carroll (Faye) Lane and Wade (Betty) Lane; sisters, Wanda Cowan and Lou (Eddie) Pollard; special friends, Belinda Fox and Roger Trent; and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 17th at Central Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Rev. Bobby Helton and Rev. Shane Pierce officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 18th at Central Baptist Church Cemetery for graveside services.
