Eric Nakia Charity

Eric Nakia Charity “Scooby” passed away on March 4th,2026 at his home at the age of 50 years old. Eric was of Christian faith and attended House of the Lord in Greenville TN. Eric was loved by so many people. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, whom raised him, Dudley and Juanita Glover; his mom, Carolyn Bledsoe; uncles, Billy Bledsoe, Sr. and Dudley Glover, Jr.; aunt, Sandra Doyle; cousins, Rachel Wilhoit and Marah Doyle, all of Greenville TN; and family friend, Katie Holmes, of Rogersville TN. He is survived by a special friend, Betty Welch Branham of Bean Station TN; uncles, Bobby Glover and Randy (Robin) Bledsoe; aunt, Marsha (Charles) Grooms, all of Greenville TN; aunt, Betty (Rick) Laster of Bulls Gap; and also survived by many cousins. Eric loved his extended family Jason, Jerome, and Jessica Holmes, all of Bean Station TN; Brittany (Evan) Hensley of White Pine TN; Michala Holmes of Morristown; Josh and MaKenzy Holmes of Rogersville TN; the apple of his eye, grandson, Blake Holmes of Parrotsville TN; and a host of many friends. The passing of Eric will be a void in so many lives as Eric was always helping others. The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 10th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bean Station Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Westside Chapel Funeral Home for funeral expenses. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
