Eula G. Atkins, age 86, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family. She was a member of Noeton Primitive Baptist Church in Bean Station for 46 years and was retired from Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System after thirty-seven years of service, and was never late. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Atkins; parents, Lloyd and Elsie Wheatley; and three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her son, Steve (Julia) Atkins; grandchildren, Nathan (Leslie) Atkins, Lindsey (Griffin) Fowler, and Keith (Rebecca) Atkins; great-grandchildren, Anderson and Callie Fowler and Reagan and Grant Atkins; special friend, Lee Ann Hayes; and several nieces, nephews, and many other friends to numerous to mention. Special thanks to Suncrest Home Health and Hospice. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lawrence Adams, Rev. Larry Atkins, and Rev. Doug Benton officiating. Interment will follow in Noeton Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Christian School at Morristown Baptist Tabernacle where her great grandchildren attend.
