Eva Dean Moore, age 84, of Morristown, was called home by the Lord on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Heritage Nursing Home after a battle with COVID-19. Aunt Eva Dean was a lifelong member of Fernwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Elsie Moore; brothers, Willie and Paul; and sisters, Luease Moore and Mary Helen Morris. She leaves behind niece, Pamela (Tim) Kimbrough of Morristown; nephews, Rick (Briggette) Moore of Gallatin, Tennessee, Jody (Jill) Moore of Atlanta, GA, and John Mark Morris of Woodbridge, VA. Additionally, several great nieces, nephews, and cousins. No public viewing will be held, but the family will hold a graveside service at Carter Cemetery on Saturday, January 23rd at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Sonny Davis officiating. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of Heritage Nursing Center for their wonderful care given to Eva Dean during her time at the center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Eva Dean’s name to the Fernwood Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangement by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
