Evelyn Lucille (Rickard) West

Evelyn West, age 82, of Talbott, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a beloved follower of Jesus Christ, enjoyed spending time with her husband, Jim and her family and friends, loved her dogs, and her blue beetle. She loved and was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mammie “Granny” Rickard; father, Curtis Rickard; four sisters; one brother; and sons, Ronnie and Darrell Bishop (widow, Carol Bishop). She is survived by her husband, James D. West; sister, Inez Knight; grandsons, Michael (Beth) Bishop and John (Megan) Bishop; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Shelby, Baron, Jason, Joey, Skylee, and Adaline; her husband’s family, children, Jimmy (Illiana) West of Puyallup, WA, the late Judy Reynolds, and Jeff (Judy) West of Jefferson City; grandchildren, James “Bo” West, Jenny Cody, Jameson (Todd) Martin, Jennifer (Jeremy) Weston, Jessica West, and Justina (Luke) Barnes; ten great-grandchildren; and special niece and nephew, Jackie (Debbie) Crider. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, October 21st at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Sonny Beaver and Rev. Roger Porter officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, October 22nd at Sartain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery for graveside services.
