Frank L. Stewart

Frank L. Stewart, age 97, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Heritage Center. He was born and raised in Hancock County and was saved at Panther Creek Missionary Baptist Church where he was a life-long member. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Kinsler Stewart; parents, Alex and Margie Trent Stewart; and siblings, Mary Nichols, Alvada Stewart, Sadie Williams, Sam Stewart, Vol Stewart, Foye Stewart, Lloyd Stewart, Milum “Mutt” Stewart, and George Stewart. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Bill Petrous; sister, Edith Roberts; grandson Nathaniel (Maryssa) Petrous; and many nieces, nephews, and close family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 1st at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Gary Emery and Samuel Hensley officiating, Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 2nd at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services.
