Fred A. Ball

Fred A. Ball, age 89, of New Market, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 17, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. Fred loved to fish and hunt and loved his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-eight years, Naomi Ruth Ball; son, Randy Ball; father, Rufus Ball; mother, Jessie Smith; sister, Edith Ball; and brother, Danny Ball. He is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Charles) Courtney, Aileen (Clifford) Beasley, Glenda Bailey, Sherrie Brooks, and Sheila (Mark) Wilson; sons, Freddy (Karla) Ball, Mark (DeeDee) Ball, and Anthony (Mary) Ball; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Special thanks to Clifford and Aileen Beasley and Carlos Hernandez for the loving care they provided and also to U.T. Hospice for their amazing love and care, as well as U.T. Hospice Chaplain, Jeremy. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, November 20th at the House of Prayer Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Rev. Charles Courtney and Rev. Travis Beasley officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 21st at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in Jefferson City.   Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
