Garry Dale Williamson

Garry Dale Williamson, age 64, of Thorn Hill, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Claiborne County Hospital. He was employed by C.R. Daniels for forty-four years. Garry was a loving husband, dad, and papaw and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his son, Jacob Dillard Williamson; parents, Dillard and Barbara Williamson; and uncle, Daddy Arlie Queen. He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Sharleene Williamson; daughter, Josie Williamson and fiancé, Zachary Wilhoit; grandchildren, Aubrie Faith Williamson and Liam Wilhoit; sisters, Christina (John) Whitmer and Bonita Adkins; aunt, Momma Jean; and several other nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, October 11th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 12th at Dalton Cemetery in Thorn Hill for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
