Gary "Mike" Michael Long

Gary Michael “Mike” Long, age 71, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at his residence. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Long; parents, James and Pearl Long; and brother, David Long. He is survived by his step-daughter, Angie (Mike) Bowlin; grandchildren, Mickaela (Dylan) Bibbins and Savannah Whitt; great-grandchildren, Elaina and Jaxson; brothers, James Long, Jr. and Dale (Sharon) Long; brother-in-law, Ricky (Tina) Dodson; sisters-in-law, Brenda Long, Marie Hensley, and Mary Henson; long-time friend, Diania Long; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 25th at Bent Creek Cemetery for graveside services with Rev. Ricky Dodson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Westside Chapel Funeral Home for funeral expenses. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
