Gerald Dean Turbyville, age 68, of Jefferson City, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Gerald proudly served in The National Guard. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Turbyville; daughter, Lenora Fine; sister, Theresa Arnold; and brother, Anthony Turbyville. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Brenda Turbyville; son, Johnny Smallin; daughter, Angela (Donald Wright) Smallin; mother, Ruby Lee; grandchildren, Maria Evans, Jerimiah (Chelsea) Elmore, Mark (Mandy) Elmore, Mickey Hambrick, Abie Fine, Zackery Fine, Kyleigh Chambers, Hailie McNish, and Emma Wright; great grandchildren, Jacob Elmore, Mason Elmore, Lillie Elmore, Bailee Elmore, Logan Cates, and Levi Hambrick.; brothers, Dale Turbyville, Donnie Turbyville, Larry Turbyville, and Brad Turbyville. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Monday, July 19, 2021 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with Rev. Tony Hayes officiating. Family and friends will meet for a 2 pm Military graveside service on Wednesday, July 21st at Caledonia Church Cemetery in Knoxville. Immediately following graveside there will be a gathering at New Market Fire Department. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
