Gloria Jean (Simmons) Robinson

Gloria Jean Robinson, age 65, of Mooresburg, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Big Hill Baptist Church in Mooresburg and worked in the cafeteria at MAHLE for ten years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Helen Simmons; brother, Ray Simmons; and grandchild, Tobias Glenn Allen Robinson. She is survived by her husband, Charles Robinson, Sr.; sons, Charles “Bugg” Robinson, Jr. and Tony (Terri) Robinson; grandchildren, Caitlin Robinson, Andrew Robinson, Trey Robinson, Jace Robinson, and Brinnon Robinson; great-grandchild, Cazzie Burdette; brothers, Mark (Debbie) Simmons and Dale (Margo) Simmons; and many other loving family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, October 18th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Benny Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 19th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
