Grayling White

Grayling White, age 66, of Talbott, formerly of Boone County West Virginia, passed away on Friday July 26, 2024 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He loved hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grayson and Barbara White; and mother and father-in-law, Hersie and Lucille Brown. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, but they have been together for a total of 42 years, Carol White; son, Grayson (Brianna) White; daughter, Amanda (Charlie) Ditrinco; brothers, Robert (Rebecca) White and Norman White; grandchildren, Gracelyn White and Amelia Ditrinco; nephew, Austin (Kaylyn) Wilson; many other special nieces and nephews, and many special friends; also his dog, Berta Blue; and cat, Annie. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 31st at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to The Rose Center Children Arts Program, The Morristown Hamblen Humane Society, and the Morristown Hamblen Library Children’s Department.
