Harry Truman “H.T.” Coffey, age 78, of Morristown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was of the Baptist faith. H.T. loved his U.T. Vols, fishing, watching Christian television shows, and spoiling his grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mossie Coffey; one sister; and several brothers. He is survived by his wife of fifty eight years, Theresa Ann Lowery Coffey; daughters, Lisa Coffey (Clay) Stewart and Gina Coffey (Jose) Aguilar; grandchildren, Christian Calfee, Cody Bull, Laura Stewart, and Alexander Stewart; great-grandchildren, Emily Calfee and Elijah Calfee; brother, Wayne (Betty) Coffey; sister, Faye Spurgeon; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, June 7th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
