Herbert Kyle Crittenden, age 86, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022. He served as Sergeant with the U.S. Army Signal Corp. in France, Germany, and South Korea. He was proud to serve the country he loved so much, the United States of America. He was retired from ENKA after thirty-three years and was a wonderful son, father, husband, and friend who was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.V. and Lena Belle Crittenden; brother, James Crittenden; and granddaughter, Kelly Crittenden. He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Joan “Jo” Crittenden; son, John Crittenden; daughters by heart, Holly Bridges, Tammy (Charlie) Anderson, and Kim (Drew) Woods; sister, Virgie (Ellis) Johnson; and several nieces, nephews, and his McDonald’s buddies. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 9th at Leadvale Baptist Church in White Pine with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Jack Greene officiating.
