Hugh Tillman Clement, Sr., age 99, born October 18, 1926, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025 in Morristown. He was a member of Thankful Baptist Church for over 60 years, serving as a deacon, and loved singing in gospel quartets for many years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Preceded in death by parents, Henley and Cara Lephew Clement; brother, Herbert Clement (Mabel); sisters, Helen Jackson (Burley) and Doris Sherrod (Bill); and granddaughter, Maggie Tillman Clement. Survived by his wife Pauline C. Clement; sons, Hugh Clement, Jr. (Teresa) and Wayne Clement (Patti); grandchildren, Crystal Clement, Katie Cantrell (Jacob), and Dr. Parker Clement (Ashley); great-grandson, Eli Parker Clement; as well as several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to all who provided him care both at home and at Life Care Center of Morristown. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Westside Chapel Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following. A family burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Hamblen Memory Gardens, Morristown, TN.
