Hugh "Del" Parker

Hugh “Del” Parker, 83, of Morristown, passed away May 13, 2022, at Fort Sanders Hospital after a brief illness. He served In the United States Air Force and retired from IBM. He was a member of Alpha Baptist Church. Hugh was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by parents, Hugh and Rhebia Parker; sisters, Alta Hurley and Norma Kidwell. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Sheri Ball (Brett), Jill Barnes (Kent ) and Alison Baker; grandchildren, Parker Bell (Alex), Emily Bell, Jameson Barnes, Savannah Baker and Catherine Baker; and two great grandchildren, Brody & Lake Bell. Friends may stop by Westside Chapel Funeral Home to sign the register book and pay their respects on Monday, May 16, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The entombment service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
