Inez Gilbert Wolfe, age 80, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at her residence. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Inez was full of life, loved her Lord and Savior, was famous for singing Amazing Grace A Cappella, and bringing her chocolate and coconut cream pies to every function. She was a lifelong member of the Morristown Rescue Squad Crewettes. She retired as manager of Quality Products and also worked at Howmet, Shelby-Williams, and Berkline. Inez was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wolfe; parents, Willard “Bill” and Lula Gilbert; brother, Richard Gilbert; and sister, Helen Klocek. She is survived by her children, Kim (Calvin) Pennala, Lynn (Michelle) Wolfe, and Wayne Wolfe; grandchildren, Caitlin (Matthew) Deaver, Megan Pennala, Blaine Pennala, Josh Wolfe, Adam Wolfe, Tanner Wolfe, and Evan Wolters; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Waymon Gilbert; sisters, Annette Breeding and Eunice (Gary) Willingham; and special friends, Johnny and Kathy Walker and Theasha Vendola. Special thanks to the staff of Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System and Smoky Mountain Hospice. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 6th at Morningside Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Dr. Kenny Boling and Rev. Ross Woody officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 7th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to help with medical expenses.
