J.C. Spurling

J.C. Spurling, age 93, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and an avid sports fan, especially for the U.T. Vols. J.C. was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Spurling; daughter, Kathy Booher; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his grandson, Mark Booher (Savannah Britt); sister-in-law, Patsy Faulkner; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for military graveside services with Rev. Jeff Porter officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
