Jack Arthur Fielden

Jack Arthur Fielden, age 89, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Morristown for 62 years.  He retired from TVA after thirty-eight years of service and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. The love of the Lord Jesus Christ and his family was the most important thing to him, and he was constantly referred to as “the best man I’ve ever known”. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Eva Fielden; son, Richard Fielden; and sister, Peggy Price. He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Joyce Fielden; son, Michael (Sue) Fielden; grandchildren, Christopher (Krystal) Fielden and Stephanie Nixon; great-grandchildren, Gage Fielden, Christen (Jesse) Floyd, Paton, River, and Billy Fielden; and great-great grandchildren, Haizlee and Alice Floyd. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. Thursday, September 3rd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Dean Haun and Rev. Danny Georges officiating. Interment will follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens with military honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church in Morristown.
